Based in London · Open to new challenges
Seven years in finance. A track record of picking things up fast, taking ownership, and making things measurably better. Equally comfortable in a spreadsheet, a strategy meeting, or an AI workflow. Always up for a challenge.
New platforms, new frameworks, new teams — I've consistently moved from zero to productive faster than expected. From biomedical science to investment analytics, I find the fastest way to learn is by doing.
I don't hand problems upwards. If something is broken, slow, or unclear — I fix it. Three firms, three different environments, the same pattern: I spot the inefficiency and I sort it.
Not busy-work improvement — real results. Processes that took months reduced to days. Teams freed up from repetitive manual work. Reports that actually get used. I track the outcome, not just the effort.
Part of the firm's internal AI innovation committee, evaluating and implementing AI-assisted workflows across reporting and operations. Already integrated automation tools that have meaningfully reduced manual processing time — and I'm just getting started with what's possible.
Broad ownership of fund reporting, data infrastructure, and regulatory obligations across the full product range. Became a key resource across FactSet, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, and transaction cost reporting — picking up systems independently and improving them. Led competitor analysis and investment research across the business, and supported Redwheel's successful transition to full GIPS compliance.
Managed the accuracy of core data systems within SimCorp Dimension, led onboarding for new client mandates end-to-end, and stepped up as project manager on process improvement initiatives. Ran training and delivery across four international teams — comfortable owning the process and coordinating the people around it.
Joined a major company-wide transition project and became one of its key contributors. Took on end-to-end ownership of transaction cost analysis for the entire firm alongside two others — designing, managing, and delivering CTI, PRIIPs, and MiFID II cost reporting from the ground up. Also took on SQL, Power BI, and UAT responsibilities, and built workflows that permanently reduced the team headcount needed for the same output.
Client-facing role supporting high-net-worth individuals across pensions, investments, tax planning, and insurance. A grounding in the human side of finance — understanding what clients actually need, not just what the spreadsheet says.
Sport is a constant. Football on Saturdays, nets when cricket season allows, skiing when the mountains call. Currently in a padel obsession — when I can get a court booking. A Chelsea fan, struggling to come to grips with the new ownership model.
I run to think, to not think, and occasionally for a race — most recently the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay through the City. I know London better overground than underground as a result of too many bike rides around it.
Coffee is a genuine interest — currently working on my latte art using a new machine at home. Progress is slow but the espresso is good. Chess keeps the analytical side ticking when the working day is done.
I follow AI closely — not just for work. The pace of change right now is something I find genuinely fascinating, and I think about where it's going as much as how to use it today.
Curious, competitive, and social. Better in a team than alone. Always looking for the next thing to get good at.
Open to new roles, interesting projects, or just a coffee. If something feels like a fit — drop me a line.
